NFC Annual Lunch at Park Farm Hethersett on Sunday 17th November, starting at 12.00 for 12.45. A special one-off deal whereby the price per person (£26.50) remains close to that of last year! Those who have attended before will testify as to the quality of the lunch at Park Farm, as well as the banter that goes on in the margins. It is a truly convivial affair, so please sign up early and attend if you can.
The selected menu is as follows: please choose one item from each course by number and let David know your choices.
Starters 1 Broccoli & Blue Cheese Soup.
2 Ham Hock Terrine with Plum Chutney.
3 Kipper Pate with Lemon & Toasted Tomato Bread.
Main Courses 1 Plaice Fillet on Shellfish Sauce topped with Prawn Beignet.
2 Roast Norfolk Chicken with a Traditional Chasseur Sauce (white wine, tomato, mushroom & tarragon sauce).
3 Roast Sirloin of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding , Gravy served with Horseradish Sauce.
4 Courgette & Brie Tart with Sour Cream Dressing.
[All with a selection of freshly prepared vegetables]
Desserts 1 Bread & Butter Pudding with Vanilla Custard.
2 Lemon Tart with Raspberry Coulis.
3 Dark Chocolate Truffle Torte with Strawberry Dressing.
Coffee and Mints for Everybody
Wine/beer is available and may be ordered and paid for at the bar.
Applications can still be received.
Seating will be at round tables for 8, possibly 10 if requested.

‘Festive and free’ Winter Match on Sunday 15th December. There will be the usual 3 fishing sessions between 09.30 and 12.30, according to Club rules with a maximum of 2 flies per cast and a 6-fish limit.
A ‘lucky dip’ will replace the raffle, and we therefore ask that all participants donate one wrapped unisex present to the value of about £5.00. Food for the festive season will be kindly provided by Fred Lines, and there will also be mulled wine and coffee/tea. The Club will bear the cost of the event, including the monetary prizes; so, come and get some Christmas spirit!
